Las Palmas - Las Palmas

Welcome on board the Christian Radich on this unique voyage, visiting two of the smallest of the Canary Islands. We leave from Las Palmas on December 3rd, heading for La Gomera. The ship will stay in San Sebastian and we have two days to explore this beautiful island. La Gomera is the second-smallest of the inhabited Canary Islands and it’s not many tourists here. In the middle of the island you find the National Park Garajonay with it’s unique rainforest. The park is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are hiking trails and cycle paths, if you want to rent a bike. When we sail towards the next island, you get the feeling of freedom, arriving in one of the world's most beautiful tallships!

El Hierro is the next island we visit and it is the smallest of the Canary Islands. We arrive in the evening and spend the whole next day on land. We have set up a sightseeing-tour by bus in the morning to the viewpoint La Peña which is located north of the island. From here you can look out over the sea, vineyards and fruit trees. Be sure to enroll in advance and remember good shoes!

During the voyages you are a trainee on board and you participate in the daily work of sailing.
